BC Government Introduces New Building Act

The BC government has introduced a new Building Act which is intended to make construction practices more efficient by a more uniform Building Code, supported by interpretation by the province, a common practice in the rest of Canada.

The Victoria Residential Builders Association has been advocating this for many years. Here is our sample editorial also appearing in our column in the Times Colonist.

Our Builders Council will be reviewing the details of the new legislation this week.

There are no responses so far.
