CMHC Reports Victoria Housing Market Good Value

A recent CMHC update on Canada’s housing markets shows overvaluation & overbuilding prevalent in some cities but not Victoria. You can view the chart here. This makes sense because Victoria has only started to recover from the global housing crash in 2008/09. Victoria was one of the very few cities in Canada to experience a steady decline in new housing prices until very recently as noted by Statistics Canada.
