Victoria Housing Starts Pass 2,000 Mark

In 2015, Victoria achieved more than 2,000 new home building starts (2008) for the first time in a number of years. This is an important number in terms of employment for skilled trades, industry health and sustainability. Single family starts increased 25% over last year and multi-family increased 73%. This should continue into 2016 as BC experiences the strongest employment/economy in Canada and interest rates remain historically low.
